I got lucky with a discovery of a $1 Columbian souvenir sheet of 1992 that has the tagging missing. I picked up a set of 15 sheets on ebay and was surprised to note the tagging missing under uv light.

Here is a YouTube video that is instructive on identifying the error sheet. Although they are very scarce, evidently some are still out there waiting to be discovered.

Happy hunting!

Thanks very much for this and congrats on your discovery. It is nice to see some folks using tools like Youtube to promote the hobby!

One question... What kind of UV light you are using? I have been struggling to identify tagging on some 1960's vintage US stamps with my Prinz portable UV lamp. Perhaps I have been using it in the wrong way. Do you need to be in a totally dark room to use a UV light properly? I apologize in advance if these questions have been answered elsewhere or are really dumb.

You should be in total darkness to make sure! On some stamps the amount of "tagging" varies greatly and if you are not in total darkness you might miss it completely.
Also, if you use a battery operated light the health of the batteries is very important!

Thanks for your response! I will try to do my next tagging ID session in the dark.... of course being in the dark about many things philatelic is nothing new for me.

I have a short wave and long wave two little windows light up at same time. You can get it from a stamp supply store. There are other threads on tagging I looked up today that were informative. Good luck!
