So hello again SCF after 3 or so years of not being active lol. Been running my business for last few years and now have the time to get back into collecting and also looking for rarities. So I've come across a group of 30 or so 1924 2c Harding in an auction as thousands of other auctions have been sold before(im always looking for 594,596,613, of course...lol). Always looking for the grayer taller 612 mixed with 610's. Now, take a look at the middle stamp in pic. Tad taller but def lower than left stamp, also grayer and little larger balls in corners which is characteristic of the perf 10 612. But,... perfs line up on both sides assuming left and right stamp are smaller 610 design perf 11 and if match up makes the middle perf 11 with taller design. All in all, cant wait to get and find out why its not a 613...?lol..Any thoughts much appreciated as always...:)

The image is so unfocused, misaligned and lacking in detail that substantive commentary is impossible. Sorry. You'll have to upload a flat, focused, high-resolution scan.

These are the dreams that drive stamp collectors. Finding that needle in a haystack !

Anyone can buy rare stamps if they have enough money. That's just owning a stamp! I have those in my collection.

But it's the hunt. It's finding that rare piece in someone else's plunder that keeps me going. The story behind the find. Those are the items I treasure the most.

good luck! I'd like to see the 3 stamps overlayed so the possible vertical difference can be seen.
