Thank you for providing this link, wert. It's always nice to see old friends and in both the USA collections shown this fellow has given me a tip on finding some friends I have not seen for several years. I am particularly thinking of the set of page numbered large die trial colors produced for the samples of 1889-90. I only have one or two, but had a chance to study the full set back when Harvey Warm made them available for sale. It was instrumental in getting me to write about them back then.

As it turns out between the two US "collections" shown I have several items he is missing, so I will make use of the link to contact him (a fellow named Glen apparently) to swap info, stories, and pics. Nothing for sale though. Does anyone here know whose site this is and whether or not he owns this material?

I was particularly impressed by his presentation of the die types of the National BNCo 6c Lincoln essays. This has to be the clearest and most accessible explanation of the flyspeck differences I have ever seen. Now I can arrange mine with conviction! I just can't say enough. There is great content here, and the research presented is as up-to-date as it gets.

Beautiful material to be seen here.
