Just starting to get some of these from the mail room. I noticed that the Coil Stamp (right, very bad shape) appears untagged. Is that correct for this issue?

The above quote is from eyeonwall's post in another thread (3271b question). The Lincoln coils glow bluish white under short UV.

Going back to the Technical Details appearing in the Postal Bulletin for the 21-cent Abraham Lincoln Stamps, the sheet version is said to be on "prephosphored, Type II" paper. The Coil version is said to be on "nonphosphored, Type III, Phosphor Tagged" paper.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to look at other copies of the same stamp to familiarize myself with the subtleties.
