Perf 11, 2 Cent Rotary Is It 554 Or 595?

Measured against a known flat plate, but appears to be rotary. No color bleed on back and slightly wider, but interested in what you guys can tell me about it.

The stamp looks like a common perf 11 x 10˝ 634. While it is almost impossible to identify a stamp from an oblique cell phone photo, it is clear that the stamp is not a 595 and does not look like a 554. A 1200 DPI scan on a black background would be needed for positive identification. Measurement of stamps based on Scott catalog information is almost useless. Compare the height of the stamp with a rotary press stamp from the 1938 Presidential series. If the height matches, the stamp is a rotary press product.

Some ebay sellers use images like the one presented. Always avoid such sellers.
