disi-- I totally got you on that hand cancel, if that is your defining feature of this block. My avatar has a hand written cancel that is so neatly done you have to look at it with a glass to tell it wasn't done by machine (which it wouldn't have been back then anyway). I just couldn't get it to stand out the way I wanted it to. People were raised to practice good penmanship in those days.

Indeed... great observation... and you can tell in the viewing the
"canceller" was very proud and meticulous of his/her penmanship to
have taken the time to perform the cancels individually, with each
having the same flair...
