I came across these Franklins and a Washington on some old leather post cards. Has anyone seen this usage before?

Yes. I have a few of those. Some funny cartoons on them also. They don't seem to be very rare.

Thanks for replying stampcrow. I had never seen leather post cards before or ever heard anyone talk about sending or receiving them.
