I had won the zep post card it sold for $95.00, my first one.

I also won three other ones, the small usa collection, odd shapes and space stamps.

Have not looked through much this is just the surface but that album seems in fantastic condition and hardly any hinge remnants they left it intact!

spent $382.00 includes shipping and the buyers auction fee. I am happy, I love somores, some more stamps that is, lol..

LarryBruce, if you have read any of my recent posts, you know I'm envious of that zep cover.

I didn't bid on it. I'm haven't started working on that Graf trip yet. Plus, I thought it would go for too much money considering the condition. $95.00 is a nice deal. The stamp appears to be real nice (centering and condition) and that certainly makes up for the cards condition. Nice grab.

Thanks for looking, yes I was thinking of you all as I sweated bidding so much for one thing but I too been drooling over zeppelins for a long time and my evil twin took control. I kept thinking "NO" I am not letting go, like a dog playing tug of war with a rag.

I am looking at the album now not any hinge remnants through out the guy had it since 1930 signed in front Bob Ramsey. The usa pages of the worldwide album they have marked catalog values over $500.00, so I guess ebay prices around 25% $125.00 (so far guessing). I have my scott catalog out and they are dead on the price values in the catalog. Going to see what else this album has right now, looking up the world wide ones.

I think your evil twin nailed it. I was thinking the Zep was going north of $140.00.

Some of the collection lots did indeed look interesting, especially some of the worldwide lots. I am awaiting arrival of the one lot I won, the 4-stockbook Mexican revenue lot.

Ya there were some nice little lots out there that day. I did four lots won and quit it, but saw plenty I wanted and another day would have gone for. I was mainly looking USA items, but worldwide crept in too and I found this stuff.

Boxes were labeled and mostly same lines as to what would go into that junior stamp album above. The boxes I know are old the rubber bands were, as you have seen many times before I bet, rotted.

The collection of different stamp shapes had Tonga stamps, nice pristine small to huge circles. I know the pictures would look better outside the envelopes but they are so minty I couldn't ha, just to pretty to handle.

My Fusco Mexican revenue lot arrived yesterday. I did a spot count to see how close their estimate was, just for giggles... took me several hours. They had estimated 9,000 stamps and my count was 9,205, so pretty much right on the money.

Even assuming none of the stamps are better ones, it's still a win at a final cost of $0.08 per stamp, since Mexican reveues tend to wholesale for $0.25-$0.75 per stamp in lots on ebay, depending on the presentation and the size of the lot.

Browsing through, I saw 1-, 5-, and 10-peso values in quantity, which is a good sign. Most bulk lots you find are all low denominations. I spot checked a few of the more interesting ones, and found items cataloging $10-20 per.

I'm quite satisfied with the lot.
