My Fusco Mexican revenue lot arrived yesterday. I did a spot count to see how close their estimate was, just for giggles... took me several hours. They had estimated 9,000 stamps and my count was 9,205, so pretty much right on the money.
Even assuming none of the stamps are better ones, it's still a win at a final cost of $0.08 per stamp, since Mexican reveues tend to wholesale for $0.25-$0.75 per stamp in lots on
ebay, depending on the presentation and the size of the lot.
Browsing through, I saw 1-, 5-, and 10-peso values in quantity, which is a good sign. Most bulk lots you find are all low denominations. I spot checked a few of the more interesting ones, and found items cataloging $10-20 per.
I'm quite satisfied with the lot.
