Hi there,

My name is Boris. I am registered on the Coin Community Forum under the same handle. As the subject line implies, I have a lot of stamps from all over the world. They accumulated slowly. I'd like to be able to trade or sell them to grow my coin collection. My challenge is trying to figure out their value. Where can I get some help determining their value?

Thanks!

-- Boris

The cheapest way would be to go to your local library and check out there stamp catalogs ie. Scott's the are several for the world wide stamps. They should be in the reference section. I hope this helps.

Hey Boris. I am new here, too. I have seen your name on the Coin forum, where I am an active member, too.

Hi Boris,

Welcome to the SCF.

Stamperdude, has given you good advise. Just bear in mind, that the catalog prices are the prices the dealer would sell to you for. If you are selling you might expect 20 or 30 percent of those prices, unless you have something of value.

Hi Boris, #1 You can go to a library and get stamp catalogs for the Country that your stamps came from and look them up. #2 See if there are any stamp Clubs in your town and go to a meeting, they will be happy to help. #3 Join Stamp Wants and Coin Wants. There are very nice people there also for buying and selling stamps and coins. There link is http://www.stampwants.com
