I have been collecting US Christmas stamps. I am only about 1/3 of the way there.

I am collecting not only singles, but also all the booklets and self-fold booklets.

Does anyone have any background information I should be aware of, insights or suggestions?

Hello Neal, welcome to Stamp Community!

There is a Christmas Stamps Topical forum on SCF here under Topical sta,ps that would have some of your stamps show I would think. There are a lot of US Christmas stamps.

Please search on SCF also, button at top right.

Perhaps the Bookman catalogue (spelling?) would be helpful also, if you don't have a Scott catalogue.

As essentially a new collector the number of varieties of a given stamp can be confusing. And expensive if you try to collect them all, even in a limited area such as Christmas stamps!
