1887 2c green on blue, Die 87 (UPSS 920) cut square (U308) is it possible???

Scott Specialized for design U70: "Bust points between third and fourth notches of inner oval "G" of "POSTAGE" has no bar." Compared to the picture in the Catalogue, yours has the bar, so it cannot be U70, so not a U308. U308 is on blue paper. Yours appears to be on white, but I am not proficient with all of the paper color variations.

Definitely not.

First, the scan you show is not on blue paper.

Second, the die is wrong, when comparing the "G" in "POSTAGE" and the bust of Washington.

I would say your example is most likely a U311. Catalog value: 25 cents.
