Trying to figure out the particulars of these stamps. Once again I need to lean on the experts. Can you guys give me some sense as to the condition and if they are cancelled. I will post up reverse images if you want me to.

Regards,
Mike L.

Condition appears to be unused, after that it's only a guess since we have no idea about the gum or lack of.

Not sure about the two, looks like a possible cancel in the upper right.

Cancel or not they are very nice, not best centered but you can see the design very well, and for me that's what count. The 6 cents have some spots of color missing on the left, but for me it's better than a huge cancel that hide the design.

RE: 2-cent
I have several copies which have this sort of brightness/halo and am squarely in the OVERINKING camp.

RE: 5-cent
I see the same small bit of a cancellation as wert. It reacts differently to manipulation than the inking.

RE: 8-cent
If the stamp is not scuffed in the area wert has indicated, it then become a big red flag indicating a removed cancellation.

The others appear to be unused, but better scans of the fronts and a good scan of the back would be extremely helpful.

Better scans to help identification.

I am not sure whether the responders are holding back their responses out of courtesy or not. If the originator of the thread is asking for an honest opinion regarding the condition of the stamps shown I would say that they may be unused, and certainly perfectly fine as collectors stamps but overall rate average to F/VF based on centering --at best
