If you show the bottom of the stamp so we can see all 4 full perforated edges, I will be able to tell you. The stamp as listed in the Scott catalog is not a valuable stamp - however, if it is well-centered with wide and even margins all around, it could be worth much more.

This is true both as far as collectibility and value.

You image is getting better, good job, now just get it better in focus, and lets see the entire stamp, also lets see the entire reverse side in focus please!

Please clarify what you mean when you say "Can anyone tell me if this is a collectable stamp?"

To you what is a collectable stamp? Lets discuss!

Examine the oval around who ever you think it is, hint he was died before the 19th century started, but just barely!

mlesage1954: Thank you for your response! Now I see some perforations at the bottom of the scan. Given that the bottom perforations are close to the stamp design and the other 3 sides have clear margins, this is an average to fine centered stamp, so it is collectable since it has some eye-appeal, but not a valuable stamp with regard to price.

It appears to be Scott 184 with a catalog value in the $1 range for a VF specimen.

Just to give you an example of how condition is everything, my 2013 Scott Specialized Catalog lists the stamp (Scott 184) in VF condition at $1, however, the SAME STAMP in VG condition is valued at only 25 cents; in F condition 30 cents; in F-VF condition 70 cents.
