I'm new here and very new to stamp collecting (about six months). I started getting interested in collecting late one night when I was struggling with life and needed something to take my mind off of things. I discovered collecting. :) I'm working on a US collection that has a pretty good start, am interested in Great Britain stamps, and am toying with collecting both owl stamps and stamps from Tanzania and it's predecessors Tanganyika and Zanzibar. I also have a small collection of Sherlock Holmes stamps and covers, but these are hard to come by (I haven't found a dealer yet who has a "Sherlock Holmes" section). So I'm setting that aside for now.
A bit about me: I'm 28 years old and enjoy writing, painting, and knitting when I'm not collecting stamps. I have a very dear man in my life and a cat, and that's pretty much enough for me. :)
