Whent to my third stamp club meeting last night. There were circuit books and I had a blast. Didn't go crazy and only spent $14.00 on a few early Canadians that I didn't have.

Then this guy show's me this album that he's selling for $100.00. He let me take it home to have a closer look. In the first 1/4 of the book I would get my money's worth of stamps that I am missing.

I think I'm just going to go ahead even though there are many stamps that I alwready have I think it's worth it. From what I've seen a few of the stamps in there are hard to get.

Am I bad or what

Dianne

I am glad you have found a great club to join. As for purchasing an album for stamps you need I don't think there is anything wrong with that, especially if the price is reasonable. You can remove what you need and then trade or sell what you don't. It is a win-win.

Good for you, Dianne.

How often does your stamp club meet?

The OPS meets once per week, 11 months of the year!

I'm getting a tooth pulled on Saturday morning, so I'll be recovering this weekend. will get a packet out to you... wild and weird stamps!

David

I wish there were some stamp clubs around here. I would love to show off my collection and see what other people have in their collections.

Well guys I just finished going through the album of stamps I bought and let me tell you it was a blast.

Though I alwready had a lot of the stamps in it I managed to fill quite a few holes between 1888 and and 1984 including some back of book.

I would say that exept for the pages prior to 1897 my album is about 98% complete to 1987.

Now I can go on the hunt for specific stamps.

And all those stamps that were left I hoping will fill holes in my Aussie freinds collections as a thank you for that wonderful 5 pounder they sent my way..
