Haven't been on much lately but...
to ID the shade it really helps to have a year date stamp and usually that would be on cover. Since each of the specialized shades are known by date ran gf e and with the difference in scanners and screens it's not possible to just put an image out there and offer an accurate shade ID.

Also I didn't see the ebay auction.

Funny when you see the 3 scans all next to each other, the color of the stamp paper is completely different making me think that they all had different settings. The one that Randall was referring to as more of a pinky color had more of a yellow paper also....at least on my screen.

I would say not brick red. Doesn't look like a #27 and doesn't look like the brick red I bought from Mike McClung (And Jack Daley didn't agree agree that my copy was brick red, either)...so even the experts disagree on the ID of shades.

Nice strip and but I wouldn't have paid that much w/o a month/year date...and I've bought pairs of 64b's for less. Albeit, still attractive. Just my opinion, folks...Ray
