Hi guys..Was looking at this 1901 pan am game stamp and it looks a lot like the 1898 Canadian Map stamp...Now on your pan am stamp it says copyright 1898..Would that possibly be the coyright of the Canadian stamp..?

Don't know Mr Shults. You think he's pinched the Canadian Postmaster General's design, but made Buffalo the centre of the world?

Well,I suppose anyone who decided to use a Mercator progjection map centered on the Americas would have a similar design. It's a bit of a stretch to suggest Mr. Shults could not have thought that much up on his own.

Not to mention that the Pan-Am map is rather poorly done. It looks like the design tried to include Hawaii and some island(s) off the coast of Asia - the Philippines? - as part of the Pan-Am representation.
