Phil,
I found the listing. I have 2 other covers with the same cachet, just different color ink one red and the other purple, that I picked up in Saint Lou-ee for $2 each. Both are dated march 10 1955 sent from rockford & received in chicago, the other is showing sent from chicago and received in rockford. I was able to find them quickly because they aren't in a cover album yet. LOL

I was on top of it until I was outbid by a penny and sniped at the last minute(I think). Oh well. Thanks for the heads up.

Yup...met Mike..your Guatemala club was there, they wer holding a meeting at 12:15. Mike and I decided to see what was up with them.

So we told them we left our cards home, but we told them we were Gregg Groves and Phil Bruno, and they let us in

There was also a dealer who just had Central America stuff, no covers

I was able to pick up some nice Costa Rica Airmail sets at 60 off SC price

Yes I could use that cover. It will be a nice companion of the other FDC for that issue I have with 2 attached stamps & a different cachet on it that my grandmother gave me over 20 years ago. It would be the first Lincoln cover I had.
