Lottery Ticket With Usir And Auditor's Stamp

Below are a couple of images from a recent ebay auction for an 1866 Kentucky Lottery Ticket that has a USIR cancel. It went for over 500 dollars.

Eric Jackson has another example from Shelby College for sale on his site (and it looks like he made a play for this one too), but that one is listed for sale for considerably less.

The second image shows an Auditor's stamp that I have not seen before. Does anyone know of any literature on this stamp or lottery tickets with USIR cancels?

WOW - that's cool. A $1.50 ticket too - that was a lot of money.

Wonder what the big prize was

There was no "big prize", these were all scams. These are VERY scarce; there was another document with the printed federal oval on it that went for far less because almost no one saw it. Not at all something that will be seen every day.
