Another fake coil on ebay? Was looking at this stamp which appears very nice, however the perfs seem to be too round and uniform to be real? Perhaps a re-perfed Imperforated stamp. Seems to be wide enough so perhaps not a booklet pane trim job? The line on the face are from the scanner.

chaulkdust - I think you are dead-on with your assessment. The perforation holes look very round and "clean" to me, so not authentic for the coil issue. Haven't checked the width, but the straight edges look too sharp as well.

Just looked at the "STAMP SMARTER" Display by Problem section; very interesting group of names appear to be repeat offenders.

Just got home from work 10:30pm, so no I didn't report it. I'm still not confident in my ability to identify these for sure. That's why I run them by the site 1st. I would really hate to call someone on an issue and be wrong about my analysis. Does Stamp Smarter check the opinions of their posters somehow? I have only posted once after I received verification from the group on this site.

I see the seller has a lot of material listed, I started to look at all of them quickly but had to drop it.

I did just now send a note to the seller.
