Could be plate scratches. Could be debris on the plate. The curved item at lower left (you can also see a curved line going through the two portions of the top of the 2) could be a foreign entry or DT.

However, in order for it to be a foreign entry or DT, there would have to be another corroborating example to confirm plate and position consistency. Otherwise, it's just a minor anomaly.

Still neat though.

I'll second everything revenuecollector said, and ask what going on with George's left eye, does he really have three pupils? Or is that some stray ink?
