$150.00 = 15000 cents
15000 cents / 11000 stamps = 1.36 cent/stamp

an incredible deal

Well, Phil:

I guess you make a good point. I teach in a Community College in rural North Carolina. A few years ago, I gave an exam on some fairly difficult material. After the exam, I asked one of my students -- a real country boy -- "how was it?"

After a bit of thought, he said, "it wasn't as bad as a sharp stick in the eye."

So, upon reflection, I guess it wouldn't be so bad to count those stamps after all.

I think your friend got a great deal there phil. I would love to find a deal like that.

I started hinging my stamps from poland yesterday and though I thought I had a lot of them I have lots of holes to fill.

Dianne

Diane, at the small local shows..where dealers are working Joes doing stamp selling part time..you can find Scott International Albums with stamps in the $40 to $50 dollar range...when you go to our friend Bobggggs neighborhood in White Plains all of a sudden the price with the dealers there is $175...i used to be able to continue my Internationals up to 1969..8 books..on ebay for around 40 bucks..but that was then...now some fools will bid them up to 80 or 90 dollars..i dont need them that bad..i want to buy stamps not albums !!
