Just got these in and thought I'd share with Y'all.I thought Prexies were pretty well used up during WW2. Included the other card to Japan from Hawaii, where's all the people on the beach? lol.
The Presidential Series wasn't replaced by the Liberty Series until the mid 1950s and some of the Presidential stamps were printed into the early 1960s. So nothing unusual about seeing Presidentials in the 1940s.
Thanks again Glenn! The Scott had 1938 for prexies but did not mention when the printing stopped. Seems like a long run for the issue. Thought I'd post a clear day in Ireland. Gotta love "Please Shew" on the back of the card.
