Folks:

We have a gentleman in the United States Study Group of the Ottawa Philatelic Society who is studying the 1919 Vixtory issue.

Does anyone have a copy of an article, handbook, etc. that we could start from?

Thank-you for your assistance.

David

My Scott Specialized has less/different information than your scans. I'm just curious -- what is your source?

G'Day KirKs,The book that I used for this reference is the "Encyclopedia of plate variations on U.S. stamps",It starts from Scott's #246 and ends at Scott's #1734,For anything earlier I use "The U.S. postage stamps of the 19Th Century Vol I,II and III"these covers stamps from Scott's #1 to Scott's #293.
The author is or was trying to promote the study of stamps and said this book should be used as a study group reference tool so what better reason to post.

Harry -- thanks for the book references.

Mac -- good links. 1847USA is my favorite stamp website (besides SCF :-). I think it was the first stamp site I saved as a favorite.
