This is the first time I am writing on the community forum. I would appreciate if someone may be able to answer this question for me.Would these two stamps be considered precancels of the Scott 596? Both stamps measure perf. 11, with no gum. As shown, the type lettering expresses "Kansas City, Mo." on both stamps. However after viewing other 596 pre cancel stamps with city and state, the type set are larger and Kansas City is expressed in one line on the stamp. Are there known different varieties in the type set for city and state for this specific Scott 596 stamp? Are these two stamps considered rare and valuable?
