I did not see where it was suggested to remove the inked initials. I must have missed that part. 50 years plus and no initials or names ever on a stamp. Amazing! Believe it or not it is fairly common. Examples abound and it is no big deal. Pinchot & Stolow are two of many that comes to mind.
