Just discovered this forum, and it looks excellent. I am not a serious stamp collector now, but I was as a kid. Coins are more my thing, but I
inherited parts of a massive collection from my father, and want to be better informed as to values and what stamps are of interest to collectors.
I have some fairly rare items [I think], so learning will be a major intent on my part.
My father did a several years long research project on the Scott 934 Victory stamp, and I have numerous signed letters from soldiers who appear on that stamp. He did this in 1945-47 after he discovered a close friend on the stamp!
