I would really like to complain to someone in charge and have felt that way all day. I appreciate you telling how to! I just think its wrong, saying nobody buys stamps when they can't! How can they buy them if they aren't there?
I talked to some of my family today and they said that post office is why they do all their business online. I didn't know they had had any problems.
I have the USPS catalogs ( came today!) and I have ordered a few things from them online and will order more, its just so much nicer to drive 5 minutes and get them instead of waiting a few days. And the po is the only place to buy stamps within a few hours of me!
I am going to my "nice" post office tomorrow. The Richard Wright stamp is being released tomorrow, the dedication ceremony is in Chicago. The postmaster there is a collector and she is awesome! |

Stephanie.....
You have found the answer to your problem......stay away from the PO that treats you poorly.....enjoy the visit where they cater to your needs. |

Stefani:
A couple years ago, I wrote a respectful letter of complaint to Postmaster Potter about the marker monkey and enclosed two examples of abuse.
I have yet to receive a reply -- not even a form letter. I realize Potter never saw the letter, but I assumed some staffer would at least address my concerns. I bet if I had written to the chairman of Pepsi, Google, Ford, etc., I would have received a reply.

KirkS, Thanks I finally got him to go to bed at 9:30. I am dreading all the candy he'll get tomorrow at an Easter egg hunt and on Sunday from the grandparents. Check out the Easter post for another cachet cover featuring my son. |

Nice work, stamperdude! I miss my boys being that small. I was putting together their Easter baskets today, and I could have cried, remembering how easy they were to please at that age. Now,as teens, they don't really want an Easter basket, but I still do it. :(
That coveer will be something you will treasure when he's older. |
