Or at least it feels like it today.

Last night at our club meeting I was showered with surprises. Firs one of the guys offered me a stock book chaulk full of Australian and New Zealand stamps (and I mean really full)for $20.00. Of course I couldn't resist that and gave him the 20 bucks on the spot.

Then another member gave me two large boxes of Australians all catalogued and told me to take whatever I need. How cool is that. I'm pretty certain I saw a #2 in there.

Dianne, thats the way it is when you belong to a stamp club..most of the people are very generous with their duplicates or stamps they are no longer interested in...what a difference from the dealer who wants the full 20 cents for a minimum value stamp !! But of course the club members are just having fun..while the dealer is a business man !!

Yes Phil you did tell me and I should have listened but you know us kids .

Stamperdude I should have added a paragraph to my original post. Part of the reason I feel so lucky is because of this forum. I would never dream of abandoning you. Everyone here has been so kind and generous.

This forum is and always will be my main sourse of inspirations.

Great news, Dianne.

Sounds like you are going to end up with a better Aussie collection than me. LOL

Maybee Once I'm organized I'll check with you to see if I can fill some of the holes in your collection trigg.

David looks like I'll have lots of King George VI to pass along.

Again I'm jealous that so many of you have a stamp club to go to. All I have is an occasional email from PhilB or Bobgggg.
