I love how the imprint is nicely centered. The stamps...not as well. Also has a few perf faults. I still like the look of it.
My Scott catalog doesn't have a listing for, Pair Imprint. Only strip of three, and blocks of four and six. Would SCV be somewhere between a single and a strip of three?

Since both are just centered fine and left stamp is pulled perf at top, I would value them at 50% of the VF catalog value plus about 20% for the imprint.

Thanks Crouse77,
the problem I'm having is, what the catalog value would be.

Retail is likely about $300 to $350 if they are mint, never hinged. Take a look at www.usphila.com and look up number 236. A virtually identical mnh pair sold at auction for $375.

cjpalermo1964, nice link, thanks. The pair is better than mine, might even be VF. So I'm going to apply Crouse77's numbers and say about $186. That top left perf bothers me more than the centering. I'm going to mark it as a value of $175.

I do this to try and keep some record of what I've paid for items as compared to what I think there value is.
I feel like I can justify the spending that way...

PS Mine are MNH
