Looks that way, unfortunately tiny errors like that arnt going to make it worth millions but I would put it aside and keep it.

I wish I could still see that good lol, sometimes I find myself scanning stamps just to look at them

Well, it is not normal, but happens a lot. Something was attached to the plate when that stamp was printed, or something was on the paper. Either way, that particular spot did not get printed. Some folks really love to look for this kind of thing, and if more than one stamp has this it becomes a "Constant Plate Variety". This is not a CPV!, but worth keeping!

Gracie, for flyspecking (The Art of finding printing errors) I'd look into Canadian re-touches and Australian Kangaroos' and KGV's.
