Hey all my name is Travis
I am a big coin collector, and need some money to buy more coins
I belong to a coin collecting forum, but no stamp collectors over there...
I have a TON of stamps, that I need to know value of, and need to know how much I can sell, and who would be interested.
I'll be posting some of the stamps I have soon
I have a lot to look through

Thank You all :)

Hi Travis,

Welcome to the SCF.
There are a few of us here that coins too.
Just remember you will need 50 posts before you can buy/sell/trade.

Welcome moneyeagles:

You might want to visit the library and do some research with a stamp catalog. It would give you a better idea about your collection.

Welcome tmoneyeagles,

I'd say you'll need to identify the stamps. Scott catalogs from the library should help. The Scott Catalog will also give you a catalog value. Then when you know the stamps you have you can check on e-bay to see what they are really going for. Or check with other on-line sources for other retailer's prices. The thing is - it's going to take an awful lot of time to do that. So I think eventually people get tired with doing all the price look-ups and just put up a batch lot and get what they can.

Well... I can't identify a stamp well... I don't see the difference from all the other perforations and stuff...
Very confusing, nothing like coins, but as some stamp collectors would say the same about my hobby, I'm sure
Scott Catalog... Got it
