In late 1996 or early 1997, long before it became common for USPS to market their stamps through grocery stores/drug stores/convenience stores, 7-Eleven stores offered some of the then current 32c self-adhesive convertible booklets (Flag over Porch, Statue of Liberty, Yellow Rose) through their stores, but with a twist. They charged more than face value, but on the backs of the booklets they put a blue & orange promotional sticker that offered a discount on phone card purchases (picture at bottom of this message).
At the APS show in Michigan I was lucky enought to find the 32c Statue of Liberty plate number V2122 with the 7-Eleven sticker on back (one of the two less common numbers with the sticker), and it was the Scott 3122Ef version (die cut 11.5x11.8).
If you have the Statue of Liberty plate number V1211 with the 7-Eleven sticker on back, can you tell me if they are 3122a (die cut 11) or 3122Ef (die cut 11.5x11.8)? [The other two SoL plate numbers known with the 7-Eleven stickers are V1111 and V2222, and both of those are Sc. 3122a, die cut 11].
Also, can anyone confirm any of the following 32c Flag over Porch (Sc. 2920a) with the the 7-Eleven sticker on back? They were listed in Linn's in 2008 as existing with the the 7-Eleven sticker, but the source of the info is not reliable.
