Hello -

I collected stamps from my early teens to my mid-20s. I acquired a fairly decent collection of 19th-C US material but sold it and left the hobby when I married and used the funds for a home down payment.

I am back in the game (at 65). Currently I am re-learning some things, learning new things, acquiring a library and relevant website links.

I intend to collect 1861-68 (esp 1-Cent, 2-Cent, 24-Cent, 30-Cent), Pictorials, the large Banknotes (esp 15-Cent ->) and perhaps Second Bureau. Commemoratives - not so much. But who can resist the Columbians and the Pan Americans!

A Question: Is an Archive of the US StampCommunity FORUM accessible?

Good Collecting!

- Molokai
