Hi guys..Just starting to look at all the American stamps I had in a box..Trouble with this 5 cent one...It is either a #335, or #361 (ya, right), or a #378...Perforation is 12 X 12...Can anyone help..Thanks.

335 has a double line watermark. 378 is single.

That stamp is in such a poor shape, could one even tell it has a watermark or not?

Nothing more to add other than to say that a 361 is also DL but on blueish paper. It doesn't look blueish to me. Sorry Robert.

this is one of those deals were you have to check the watermark if you want to know but it wont be rare either way.

I can't speak for Robert, but I suspect that it doesn't matter that it isn't rare. For the dyed-in-the-wool collector, rarity is not the driver as much as knowing what the thing is.
