The silk fibers have a random orientation and can be red or blue. I think I have seen a stamp with both colors but I can't quite remember. Not a lot of excitement for them.

I can't tell on your stamp but I can tell that it is not an orange brown #10A.

I agree it does not look very colorful in that image.

I had little hope for the paper issue either.
