Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi everybody, I was reading your forum and I thought why not to give it a shot.
I am on and off collector through the lifetime. I grew up in the Soviet Union, so I have some stamps from it, but my particular home is Latvia, so some stamps from there. Last ten years I am a proud US resident, so please forgive me my imperfect English.
My main topic is soccer, I have some stamps for trade which is not soccer, but most of my precious collection :) is soccer. And even I have quite a lot, it is still more out there :) never enough.
So my main reason to join this forum is to find some fellow collector friends from different places, I love to trade (my opinion is that trading is much more fun than buying. What is the point of collecting anyway, if you can just buy everything. Collecting is mix of adventure, and a little of piracy (just kidding), and of dreaming, and of some sort of desire. If you just buy things on e-bay, it is just a buying: not fun collecting included.
But this is just my opinion
I hope I can make friends here, even I know nobody really collect soccer stamps in US.
I am sooooo alone (just kidding)

Welcome. I know you aren't the only person collecting Soccer stamps topically. I was at a show a few years ago and someone was asking a topical dealer for Soccer stamps for their grandson's collection. I will see if I have any soccer stamps to send you after you have your 50 posts met.

I am going to try to make some pictures to show my treasures. I have some cool stuff like stamps from 3rd Reich Soccer for Olympics.
I would like to add what I also collect (let's say occasionally put in albums :) some stamps with Great Authors, Travelling, Love and Christmas). I also collect gift cards.

I have some CTO stamps of soccer,if you like I can send first,but when you match trade condition.I like Chinese used or CTO stamps and used or CTO stamps of TINTIN(Belgium cartoon dramatis personae).
