Remember when I ordered stamps from France's website? It was all in French? Well, they came today!

I got the designer series sheets:

I love these. I think they are beautiful! Plus, I got one on my friends that are all about "designers". When they talk about their exclusive Givenchy sunglasses, I can one up them, nobody has Givency postage stamps! My mail is classy, lol!

I also got some other goodies today! The redwood stamp was on a package from a friend today. But its not cancelled, maybe because its a priority package? I've been telling everyone to use stamps on any mail sent to me, and most have been. Its nice getting pretty stamps on everything, even if I wasn't a collector.

I got my St. Vincents penny black stamps today, too. I love the penny black design.

Great stamps!

I know what you mean too. When I edited a regional numismatic publication I always used stamps (commemoratives too!) to mail out the newsletter. I know people appreciated the little extra effort, especially since a lot of coin collectors do collect stamps too (or, at least, appreciate them).

stefanib, are the stamps on the French sheets the heart shaped parts of the design? If so, that's really nice.
