I literally cannot find anything online about this piece (I hesitate to call it a stamp, even though it says U.S. Postage). But I'm hoping maybe someone here can help me identify it. I upped the contrast and brightness to enhance detail, the original is quite faint. Any insight would be appreciated!

It's an essay, Scott 184-E5 style - looks like it could be Scott 184-E5i (which are on yellowish glazed chemically prepared wove paper.) All 19 listed shades of 184-E5i have a 2016 catalog value of $20/each, although condition looks pretty rough on yours so wouldn't be worth that...
