I have some Holiday Ornaments 2004 stamps (picture 1)that were never taken out their package from USPS. It says on the back that they are pressure sensitive self-adhesive - 20 stamps of 37c., but they are folded. Are they Scott# 3886a? I have another booklet of this same design that have never been folded. Are they also Scott#3886a? (picture 2 and 3). The other "possibilities" don't mention being in a "pane" of 20.
There were (3) different varieties of this issue: 3883-86 sheet which is the Plate Block (4) and also 3887-90 booklet die cut 10.25x10.75 and 3891-94 die cut 8 so appears you have all three varieties.
These pictures are of two sets of stamps. Picture 2 is one side of set and picture 3 is the other side of the set. So I only have two types of stamps. So you are saying that the Picture 1 is of the 4 stamp pane with 5 panes of 4 in the package? Picture 2 and 3 (of the one set) is not 10.5 x 10.5, so it must be 3886a?
All of your stamps are 3883-3886. These stamps were produced in two sizes. You have the larger size which was issued in both sheet & double-sided booklet format. The top picture is of a block of 4 from a booklet ... the other two pictures are of a complete booklet. So the top picture is of 3886a (block of 4) while the bottom is 3886b. The vending machine booklet stamps (3887-3890) as well as the ATM stamps (3891-3894) are considerably smaller, more squarish in shape.
