I've had this stamp in my album for over a year. I found this in large lot of Washington-Franklins that I purchased and thought I hit the jackpot with this one. However the more I look at it, the more I think it may possibly be a fake. It appears to me that the right top margin is slightly lower than the top left margin which suggests to me that at some time someone may have trimmed perforations off another stamp to make it appear to be a 388. When I actually measure it with a millimeter scale the right hand side is about 1/2 a millimeter shorter than the left. If anyone could take a look at this and give me their opinion it would be helpful. Thanks, John R.

It is a trimmed 375. In addition to the top margin, the color appears to be too bright.
