Hey guys,

My name is Jon. I'm new to the forum and pretty new to collecting. I started collecting world stamps when I was a kid, but just recently started getting serious about collecting early US stamps. I was wondering if you can help me to identify and value this one I found. I believe it's the plate 9 "dot in u" variety of the Scott 63 Franklin. It wasn't identified as such in the listing, but I believe it is. Any thoughts on value?

Thanks,
Jon

Yes, that is the "dot in U" variety. My 2011 Scott US Specialized catalog assigns a $5 premium for used and $25 premium for unused.
