Hello group. I am new to this forum. I am a buyer primarily of classic US stamps and I am presently looking to sell some duplicates. I have purchased nicer copies but I have no experience in selling. This is a US #132 with a Weiss certificate. I just learned that Weiss has passed away which is a big loss to the community.

What would be the best venue to sell my stamps? Are people cautious about newbie sellers? My ebay rating is 100% but that is primarily from buying. Do people find more success with no reserve auctions, Buy It Now or selling to a dealer? I imagine there are scammers at every turn. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi ksexton1, and a very welcome to this forum. That is one nice stamp!
The safest way is through the APS store in my opinion. Another way would be through an established auction house.
A dealer would most likely not pay you what it is worth!
Of course, if you wait and get 50 posts you can always try to sell it here!
