Hello everyone. Recently, I came across this pair of coil stamps 8c deep claret, Former President Dwight Eisenhower (1970-71)..dot between "R"and "U. Would these stamps be considered joint line pairs (1402a) with classification although oddity with middle perforations being off centered with irregular margins ? Would this coil be considered an increase due to its oddity and are stamps like these in demand among collectors? A joint line pair is considered, $85.00 range in unused condition several years ago.Do not know if the value would be decreased or in demand due to this oddity
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Blazenstar

No, not a joint line pair.... just a regular ordinary pair. A joint line is an actual line that runs from top to bottom of the strip between two stamps. See below:

Hi Blazenstar. Nice pair, the misperfed Eisenhower. Oldguy is correct, it is not a joint line pair. Your pair is most likely not worth very much. Now if it had a psrtial plate number on it, or the line that is shown above..........!
