Hi,

I just inherited a binder of stamps my Dad obtained from the Calhoun's Collectors Society labeled "50 Golden Years of US Commemorative Postage". The stamps and pages of the book are still in their original large envelopes. There are a total of ten envelopes. It looks like he never bothered to place the stamps on the pages.

pjmiller1962, welcome to the forum. I had never heard of this society so I googled it. There is a bunch of these on sale on ebay. It is pretty hard for me to tell which one you have, but if you go to ebay and search 50 golden years of US commemoratives you might get an idea of what they are selling for and if you are interested in doing so! Hope this helps?

Peter

pjmiller1962,

This is a great forum,
Take it from one that knows!

Relax, read, listen, and you will learn!

I also own this collection, and do not think it
is very valuable.

edit: If it is from your Dad, that says it all.
Keep it and treasure it!

Hope to see you back with some other questions!

I am not one to get much advice from, I saw you
out there, stay tuned!
