Hi everyone. I came across this 2cent2 carmine perforation 12/12 on all four sides it is should have a double line water mark but it does not have any water mark and it has the dots above the lip to the nose 4 rows of three and the extra dots in the top of the hair of the 528 b perf 12. what can it be perf 12 no water make does not exist.

Could it simply be a 406? Single line watermarks are sometimes nearly impossible to see. |

The 528B you mention is perf 11. You really need to post a picture as your original information is all over the place. |

I know the 528b is perf 11 Like I said it shows all the thing on the print of a 528b. I will up load a scan in a few I have to make dinner for my little one. I have checked 5 time for a water mark none on it not even a dot or dash just paper

Then I am fully confused since you state "528 b perf 12" in your original post. So it is really hard to tell what you doing and what reference are you are trying to use. Yes, the illustration will help. |

If it is perf 12/12, there is no need to check the watermark. (It is single-line watermark). It is US Scott No. 406.

I agree with IBFS. It's a type I, so perf 12 is 406. The single line watermarks can be very elusive.
Edit: look at the back, should have ink. Sign it's flat plate 406. |

Sorry about that I coppied and tried to paste just the information about the perf 12 no water mark. And when I clicked paste all that other stuff came up and when I tried to take it off it would not del.
