I found 4 of these letters to and from a Soldier and his wife in frames with the letters Do you think they are 17d's that is the # that matched on http://www.stampworld.com/en/ and that is what the look like to me for the match.







this is a pic of a 65 rose these are not the 65 I dont think

I would say this is the match Rose Brown

my bad m4... 17d is the number of the stamp on StampWorld.com

They don't appear to have grills from what I can see so Scott 65's.

Scott specialized lists a few of the shades.

Rose
Bright rose
Rose red
Brown red
pale brown red
Dull brown red
Deep pinkish rose

Scott 65 shades is a study in itself.
