Scott Type A157 Perf 12 Whats Wrong? Fake?

Hello, I came across this in a lot I bought and wonder what is going on with it? It measures perf 12 all around. Scott does not list a perf 12 for this issue and the impression seems a bit mushy. Is this a fake? Is it known to be faked? Any info is appreciated. Thanks! Wolf-==-

This looks like one of the postal counterfeits. They are listed in recent editions of the Scott Specialized.

Thanks revcollector, do you know if Scott just footnotes them or do they try to put a value on them? What year did they start mentioning them? I can't afford a new US Specialized, but may be able to get an older issue. I'd just like to know the year when they started listing them. Thanks! Wolf-==-
