Found this pair on ebay of used 634A's. Scott lists no value for a used pair and $13.50 for a single. Any ideas on value?

It doesn`t look like a pair to me, to be honest. (Perhaps we define things differently.)

It doesn't?

What am I missing? If it's the appearance of the CDS ahead of the killer, it's good to recall that since it is only on piece we don't know how many strikes of the duplex canceller were applied.

I don't think it's on piece, but simply on an orange background - the cancels don't seem to stray beyond the stamp.

Very poorly centered, cancel obliterates W's face on both. I would shop around for a nicer example, regardless of the price on this lot.

As I say, perhaps we define things differently. My eyesight is poor, too!

A pair would be two stamps that have not been separated, right?

It is most definitely a connected pair, but not on a piece. I was just curious whether as a pair a 634A is worth collecting especially due to the condition.

my guess on value: 8 USD - no premium for pair, off-center

I don't think it would give a premium dollar value, so the "worth collecting" or not question is just due to your interest in it. I have many stamps that would not get high value due to condition, cancel, etc that I am quite happy with because they fill a spot for a bargain price and/or just look neat to me (granted, I personally gravitate towards used stamps rather than the pristine MNH variety).
