Fairgrounds Flea Mkt Better Than Stamp Show

i went to the Rhinebeck fairgrounds annual flea mkt...huge...i was hoping to find a few philatelic items..i found plenty,,one guy was just about giving away cover binders...then another had nice covers and another items which were some philatelic and I would say related..nicely printed items...i picked some items up for people on the forum since they were way below a stamp dealers prices..i will display some and if you have 50 posts and are interested e mail me..nothing is expensive !!

But I agree, Flea Markets are great places for bargains. I always pick something up on those rare occasions I happen by them.

Until recently that is. My brain began to work overtime during the late winter months and I managed to convince a few others to help me organize a YAD HANNA FLEA MARKET....and it worked. Good advertising, a lot of hard work...and hey presto !.....Our first flea market was a great success with a steady flow of visitors all day. I sold many old items and bric-a-Brac and I also has a collectors table !
A great day was had by all.
Even Golovacz came along to visit.......here he is taking a rest from looking at my stamps !

So if anyone is passing by the Middle East next saturday [23rd May], do drop by, the SECOND YAD HANNA FLEA MARKET will be taking place.

i am willing to go back and look for you..they are a lot cheaper for me because I got them without shipping !! just a 7 mile ride each way..tomorrows going to be busy but we will try to get there at 9 when it opens....

The excitement is building for this Saturday, a lot more sellers have booked tables and we have someone making fresh Falafel !!

Chairs are provided, so you can be relaxed. No need to stand for hours, it's not good for the back !

It is almost the 23rd.
The Stamp stuff is ready and I am off to get a good sleep.
We will have a lot more sellers tomorrow at our 2nd Flea Market after many more bookings today.

I even managed to get some horses for the kids to pay and ride.
A promising day is upon us.
